Exhibit Information
CCSC:SE
is pleased to invite both national and local vendors to exhibit
their technology/education-related products during the conference.
Textbooks, software and hardware are among the types of products
that have been exhibited in the past.
The
conference will provide a large exhibit area in an ideal location,
immediately adjacent to the rooms in which the conference presentations
will be given. Exhibits will be open Friday, November 8th from
11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 9th from 8:00 a.m.
to 12:00 noon.
Vendor
Benefits
This
conference should offer the following advantages to exhibitors:
1.
an opportunity to interact on a personal level with a significant
number of persons directly responsible for the purchase of your
products, representing a large geographical area;
2. an opportunity to make contact with individuals who do not
attend national meetings regularly because of the limited travel
funds available to participants from the smaller institutions
that make up the bulk of our institutional population;
3.
the opportunity to demonstrate your products to an interested
audience;
4.
the relatively low cost of exhibiting.
Attendee
Demographics
Records
from recent meetings show that approximately 90-110 regional faculty
attend this conference. These participants are mostly from CCSC
Southeast region (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee,
Virginia, Florida). Many of these participants have primary responsibilities
for recommending and purchasing computer hardware and software
needed to implement their various programs as well as responsibility
for teaching. Registrants have frequently expressed both appreciation
for corporate representatives who attended, and interest in seeing
more exhibits.
Vendor
Registration
The vendor registration fee is $50. Exhibitors will be provided
with a six-foot table, two to four chairs, and access to electricity
in the exhibitor area. If you have other needs, CCSC:SE will attempt
to meet them if you list these in the appropriate space on the
application form.
This
fee also entitles all members of the exhibiting team to attend
as many sessions as desired. It does not, however, include copies
of the conference proceedings or tickets to the banquet on Friday
evening and luncheon on Saturday. Tickets may be purchased individually
for the banquet ($25) or luncheon ($10), as desired.
If
you are interested in participating in the conference as an exhibitor,
please complete the application
form and send it with payment to the address noted.
National
Vendors
National
vendors pay a single annual fee that entitles them to exhibit
their products and services at any of the eight regional conferences
of CCSC. Current national vendors include:
1.
NCSI
2. McGraw-Hill Higher Education
3. Metrowerks
4. Microsoft
5. Scott Jones
6. Prentice Hall
7. Holt Software
8. Pearson Education
If
you are a national vendor and wish to exhibit at CCSC:SE, please
send the application form minus
the registration fee. If you are interested in becoming a national
vendor, please complete the national
vendor registration form.
