The 2010 Upstate Information Technology Camp activities are geared toward learning more about the growing and exciting field of Information Technology. Students and faculty from Furman and USC Upstate along with IT industry representatives will discuss the wide range of exciting career options available in IT and the necessary skill sets for succeeding in these careers. Attendees will be engaged in activities designed to reinforce this learning, including the assembly of their own laptop computer -- which they keep once the IT Camp ends!

Who is eligible to participate?

Open to 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students from upstate and surrounding counties who would like to learn more about computers and technology and who have a potential interest in a career in information technology (IT). Public, private, and homeschooled students are all welcome to apply.
