The education
Furman has been ranked no.4 in U.S. News Best Undergraduate Research Programs along with MIT, Stanford and Michigan. Class sizes are small, often under ten students. Furman CS students have gone to work all over the country. What more can you ask for?
The campus
The Princeton Review ranked Furman's campus fifth most beautiful in the nation. A forty acre lake sits in the center, and the famous Furman Bell Tower stands at its side. The gorgeous rose garden is a favorite study spot for many students. One visit and you'll be hooked.
The technology
Students have two labs and one lounge equipped with state of the art machines, each with all of the cutting edge software. The CS department also comes equipped with a networked supercomputer which we call Beowulf. View the facilities page for more information.
