Multimedia Authoring Project

The objective of this project is for you to demonstrate your proficiency in simple multimedia authoring You are to create a moderate-sized presentation in Powerpoint. The subject of the presentation is left completely up to you. (If you have an upcoming presentation a class this term, this would be a perfect opportunity to enhance it.) You may work in teams of no more than two on this project.

The presentation that you create should have at least the following characteristics. It may contain additional features and enhancements at your discretion, and you are encouraged to experiment. Extra credit consideration will be given for features beyond these:

• a minimum of six slides;
• at least three different slide layouts (including "title");
• at least one image, downloaded from the Web or of your own creation (via scanning, use of the digital camera, or drawing tools);
• the use of slide transitions;
• the use of builds (text animations);
• some object of your choosing on the slide master;
• a common background

What you should turn in:

• Save the presentation under the filename "lastname PPT HW".
• Place it in the IN folder on the class file server.
