synopsis

Dr. Charles Forbin is the designer of the secret defense project and advanced computer system called "Colossus." Unknown to American scientists, the Soviets have launched a similar powerful computer defense system. The computers insist on being linked in order to carry out their missions. The results are very different from what the American and Soviet governments expected.
