"Catch That Rabbit"

setting: Asteroid Mining Station (2016?)

Review Questions.

  1. DV-5 or "Davey" controls six other robots in a manner similar to the way a human controls his fingers? What does he mean? Is this analogy a good one?

  2. Donovan concludes that Davey's inability to complete his duties is when his "personal initiative" takes over. What does he mean? How does this explain the robot marching behavior?

  3. In this story, Powell and Donovan talk about the positronic brains that control the robots. How do they describe them? They also admit that their complexity makes them difficult for anyone to understand fully. Does Asimov's positronic brains have any parallel with humans?
